Here is a printable copy of the community gardens self-guided bike tour! This is a 5.5 miles bike tour that visits six gardens within Jackson. The tour utilizes the current bike lanes and paths within Jackson. This a great opportunity to get out of the house and fill your afternoon with gardens, biking and parks!

The 3rd Annual Community Gardens Tour has been planned! This year’s Community Gardens Tour will take place on Thursday, July 26th from 5:30-8:00p.m. The bus will be meeting at Dahlem Ecology Farm at 7117 South Jackson Road. There is plenty of parking, but we encourage everyone to car pool to the event.
The tour will visit five community gardens in the Jackson area; St. Vincent de Paul, Jackson Victory Garden, Barham Garden, Kibby Road Garden and Dahlem Ecological Farm. This event is planned for all the gardeners within the Jackson Community Gardens Network, but is also open to the public who are interested in community gardening. This event is a great opportunity to network, educate and engage with Jackson’s growing garden community. Each of the destination gardens will have demonstrations, tours and/or produce tasting. Ten gardens will be showing off their work and providing a snack to visitors. We're looking for volunteers to help hang flyers and help with the event. Email Michelle for more info.
